A note from the studio

Started in a Valley warehouse. Still allergic to shovelware.

In 2016 we rented a leaky warehouse two streets off Brunswick Street and shipped our first game on a $9,000 budget and far too much cold brew. Ten years later we're still on Prospect Street, still arguing about frame pacing at 2am, and still turning down projects that don't excite us.

We keep the team small on purpose — twelve people who each ship code, art or design, no middle layer. When you talk to MetaPulseWorks you talk to the people actually building your game, not an account manager reading a slide deck.

What partners say after launch

MetaPulseWorks took our napkin idea to a Steam Next Fest demo in nine weeks. The netcode just worked under 3,000 concurrent players — that never happens.

Executive Producer, Southbank · Shipped Nov 2024

We'd been burned by two overseas studios before. Dylan's team gave us a build every Friday we could actually play. Refreshingly honest about scope.

Their live-ops crew held our launch weekend together at 4am when servers spiked. Pocket Reef hit 1.8M installs and stayed at a 4.7 rating.
